Nodes - IDOC
An IDOC is an acronym standing for “Independent Domain Of Computation”. The idea behind IDOCs is that you can perform multiple simulations within a single scene, but on different machines:
- An IDOC can contain more than one node and these nodes are able to interact.
- Nodes from different IDOCs are not able to interact.
- Individual IDOCs are sent to RealFlow's → "Job Manager" and then simulated on the available network computers.
IDOCs are mainly used in conjunction with → Hybrido's secondary elements (splash, foam, bubbles, etc.), but they are not restricted to this type of fluids. It is also possible to use IDOCs together with → Dyverso fluids, → Caronte simulations, or → standard particle emitters.
