Nodes - Dyverso Fluids (DY)
Dyverso fluids provide two fundamental technologies. The
- "Liquid - PDB" (Position Based Dynamics) method is completely different from RealFlow's other solvers, it is faster than the SPH methods, supports GPUs, and it is open for other fluid types, e.g. granular substances
- "Liquid - SPH" (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) method is similar to RealFlow's standard particles, but Dyverso's SPH is much faster and supports GPUs
- illustration shows that a Dyverso fluid setup always consists of a → Dyverso domain and a → Dyverso emitter
- domain keeps the particles, while the emitter represents the point of emission in space
- particles are able to leave wet-dry maps on object surfaces
- particles can be simulated in conjunction with a RealWave surface
- particles from → different domains can interact (multiple domains do not support → OpenCL and → CUDA at the moment)
- soft bodies from RealFlow's Caronte solver are also able to interact with Dyverso particles.
Please also read the → "FAQ - Dyverso & GPUs" chapter if you encounter performance issues.
Quick Start
- Please take a look at → "Quick Start - Your First Project" where you will learn how to set up a basic Dyverso scene.
- Under → "DY - Domain" you will see a setup with multiple interacting domains and different emitters.
