Hybrido Core Fluid

The Hybrido core fluid can be seen as the main body of water. Additional elements like splashes, foam, bubbles or mist are simulated in separate passes through Hybrido secondary elements:

A Hybrido core fluid always consists of a domain, an emitter, and an emission object:

  • The domain holds the particles and is responsible for the fluid's physical properties, as well as the number of particles ("Cell size").
  • Emitter and object specify the volume where the particles will be created and their initial speed.
  • Visit the → "HY - Core Fluid" page to learn how to create a basic scene.

Displacement

Displacement, also known as ocean statistical spectrum, is a layer of small waves and ripples that is added to a Hybrido core fluid surface to enhance realism.

The displacement itself is invisible and can only be seen in conjunction with a mesh.

Limitations

Hybrido

  • domains cannot interact
  • is able to interact with rigid or soft bodies, but the objects do not show a correct buoyancy/floating behaviour
  • cannot interact with Dyverso, standard particles fluids, and RealWave
  • does not create wet-dry maps.
