Toolbar

Here you have access to the “Curve Editor's” functions and commands. When you move the mouse over these icons you will see a tooltip.

 

Add New Control Point
Create a new control point at the current mouse cursor position.
Remove Control Point
Select this tool and click on a control point to remove it.
Zoom Tool
Draw a rectangle around the area of interest.
Pan Selection
Opens a new window. Enter values to show a specific area of the canvas.
Scale Selection
Select one or more control points. Enter values in the new window to scale the curve.
Copy Selected Keys
Copy the control points currently selected.
Copy Curve
Copy the entire animation curve.
Undo action
Undo the last action(s).
Redo action
Redo the last action(s).
Fit View
Entirely fits the selected curves to the canvas.
Fit Horizontal View
Fits the selected curves to the horizontal axis of the canvas.
Fit Vertical View
Fits the selected curves to the vertical axis of the canvas.
Fit View To Selection
Entirely fits the selected control points to the canvas.
Fit Horizontal View To Selection
Fits the selected control points to the horizontal axis of the canvas.
Fit Vertical View To Selection
Fits the selected control points to the vertical axis of the canvas.
Center View To TimeLine
Reposition the vertical axis to the centre of the canvas (timeline position will be the centre of your view).
 
Horizontal Snap
When enabled the mouse cursor snaps in at a particular time.
 
Vertical Snap 
When enabled the cursor snaps in at a particular parameter value.
Set Selected Points Type to TCB 
Uses three parameters to control a key: “Tension”, “Continuity” and “Bias”.
Set Selected Points Type to Bezier
Uses tangents to control a key. You can “Break Tangents”, “Unify Tangents”, and “Flat Tangents” with the appropriate icons.
Set Selected Points Type to Linear
Connects the keys with straight lines.
Set Selected Points Type to Stepped
Creates an abrupt change between two keys similar to a stair.
Break Tangents
Broken tangents can be manipulated individually.
Unify Tangents
Both sides of the tangent have the same gradient.
Flat Tangents
To flatten out the tangents, use this function.
Toggle Frames Or Time View
Switch between frames and time (in seconds).
Show Selected Keys Values as ToolTips
Displays the keys' horizontal (X) and vertical (Y) values.
Show Key Properties

This function opens a window with information about the selected key. Click → here for a description.
