Most of them are instructions that can also be issued through toolbar buttons, menu items, etc. Most of them can be accessed from different buttons added by the plugin but some not. These are the most interesting ones:

Maxwell_About

Shows the plugin version number and the Maxwell Render version it is designed to work with, as well as some extra details of the installer (The About command is also available from the Maxwell menu on Windows).

Maxwell_MaterialReplacer

When you open the Rhino 5 file into Rhino 6, 7 or 8, you'll notice the materials coming from Rhino 5 are imported as standard Rhino materials which preserve their original name. We created this command to help replace all those standard materials with the MXM versions that have the same name in a folder of your choice. The ones that share the same name will be replaced with working materials referenced to the MXM files. So, if you have stored all the materials in the same folder (you can do so by selecting all the materials in the Rhino 5 file, right-clicking and choosing Export Selected; alternatively, you can do a pack and go of the scene; it will have a similar effect), you can use this command, specify that folder and all the materials will be replaced in one go.

Maxwell_ShowToolbars

It will make all the toolbars created by the plugin visible.

If you want to open a Rhino file created in Rhino 5 into Rhino 6, 7 or 8, check the Maxwell_MaterialReplacer command (explained above) in order to get the materials easily transferred into the new plugin version.
