Bubbles - Bubbles Dyanmics
When bubble particles reach the fluid's surface they can be converted into foam. This way it is possible to create nice trails of foam, for example from submerged objects or rotating propellors. The foam will float on top of the Hybrido fluid surface and here you can adjust its characteristics.
On surface
With “Convert to foam”, the bubble particles will act like foam particles once they have reached the fluid's surface. “Destroy” deletes the particles when they enter the surface.
Buoyancy force
Buoyancy counteracts gravity and makes objects rise. With a value of 9.8 for the vertical direction you will get a natural behaviour, but it is also possible to accelerate or decelerate the bubbles with higher or lower values. You can also add horizontal components to influence and control the bubbles' motion.
Bubbles min lifetime
If you want to destroy the particles after a certain time then you can define a lifespan with “Bubbles min/max lifetime”. The actual lifetime will be somewhere between both values, and this value defines the lower limit. The value is given seconds [s].
Bubbles max lifetime
The lifetime parameters are a very good method of controlling the amount of splash particles. If you use different values for “Bubbles min lifetime” and “Bubbles max lifetime”, the actual lifetime will be somewhere between both settings. The parameter's unit is seconds [s].
Bubbles min friction/Bubbles max friction
Friction is a very good method of controling the bubble's velocities. A particle's actual friction will be somewhere between both values. Both parameter are dimensionless, and can be animated. With a value of 0 the particle is not affected by the surrounding particles.
