Adding Nodes
An element of a scene is called a “node”, and can be a polygon object, an emitter, a daemon, or a camera, to name but a few. RealFlow provides several node types, where the associated elements are grouped. Nodes can be added from many different sources:
- Main menu > Edit > Add
- Shelves > Liquid – Hybrido, Liquid – Particles, Daemons, Objects, etc.
- Icon bar > Nodes*
- Right-click menus (Viewport, Nodes) > Add
- Relationship Editor > Tab menu
* This icon bar is not visible by default. To show it, right-click on the icon bar and choose “Nodes”. A small bar with several icons will be added.
Nodes can be added from the main menu, the icon bar, right-click menu, the "Relationship Editor's" tab menu and various shelves.
Each icon represents one of RealFlow’s object groups:
Hybrido fluid elements
Particle emitters
Daemons
Objects
Meshes
Cameras
RealWave elements
IDOC elements
Clicking on an icon will open a list of all available elements. Choosing the desired object from one of the lists, also places the item in your scene. You can repeat this process as often as needed. Please bear in mind that some elements cannot interact with each others or contribute to a simulation, although they can coexist in a scene, for example RealWaves and Hybrido fluids, or particle emitters and Hybrido fluids.
