MI - Weight Maps
When a standard particle simulation contains more than one emitter their particles can interact and mix. It is also possible to include the different emitters to a single mesh node. In a mesh like that, RealFlow applies so-called weight maps. A weight map represents the fluids' degree of interaction and is very useful for blending effects.
When a simulation with multiple emitters is loaded into Cinema 4D the weight maps will be evaluated and added as vertex map tags to the mesh importer plugin – one for each fluid. The workflow with weight maps is very similar to vertex maps. Please read the instructions under “How to... Use Weight Maps?” for detailed instructions. The difference to vertex maps is that weight maps are only available with BIN files, while most of the vertex maps are stored with MD-based meshes.
