SE - Scene Area

In this area you will find everything you need to configure the SD file.

SD File

This field contains the path and the name of the SD file. You can either enter or copy/paste a path to the input field, or open a file browser with the “...” button.

A click on this button opens a file browser where you can specify the SD's name and storage location. The path will be displayed in the “SD File” field.

Start Frame/End Frame

By default, these fields contain the Cinema 4D's current animation range. An “End Frame” is only necessary if your objects contain animation data. If there are only static objects, both values should be set to 0 to keep the SD file's size small.

Scene Scale

The plugin performs an automatic scale conversion. This way, everything matches RealFlow's standard scale of 1 metre. But, it is also possible to change scale in RealFlow directly, and this change can be compensated in Cinema 4D again with the “Scale” parameter. If you set a scale of 2.0 in RealFlow and you want to restore the original scale in Cinema 4D a value of 0.5 has to be used in the plugin.

Add Camera

As long as a scene does not contain a camera, all camera-related options are greyed out. When there is at least one camera node you can decide whether you want to include it or not.

Camera

This menu contains a list with all of the scene's cameras. You can only include one camera per SD file. Animation data from the selected camera is maintained and written to the SD file.
