Waterline - Waterline Creation

Here you can define the conditions for the creation of waterline/foam particles based on various threshold parameters.

Objects

Here the objects which create a foam ring are specified. Simply click on the hyphen (“-”) and choose the desired nodes from the file browser. This feature supports multi-selections, but if you want to create waterlines with different properties you have to use one “Waterline” emitter per object.

Emission rate

With this parameter you can directly define the number of emitted particles per second per cubic metre. It replaces the emitter's “Resolution” parameter.

Width

With this parameter you can control the width of the waterline around the object. Please bear in mind that Hybrido uses distance fields. Therefore it is necessary to “synchronize” the distance field of the emitting object(s) with the value set here: check whether the object's “Domain offset” in the “Volume” panel is equal or greater than the adjusted “Width”. This value is measured in metres [m].

Position variation

Under certain conditions, RealFlow emitters tend to create regular patterns during the creation process. To avoid this, the particles can be randomly displaced. With higher settings, the random impression becomes stronger. This value is measured in metres [m].
