Modo plugin - Adding Shortcuts
Modo plugin doesn't have predefined shortcut keys, but it is very easy to add them manually.
Â
Here are the steps:
- From the modo System menu open the Input Editor.
- Search for the shortcut key you have chosen (at the top area of the Input Window you can see various filters which make it easier to find the right key)
- For example on the image you can see that we assigned the command maxwell.export Render to the A key. (Just click on the command beside the key to edit it.)
- So now the main command associated with key A is our Maxwell command.
- But still if you push key A in the Graph Editor, in Preview or in Schematic view modo will start the original modo command. This is because the A key assignment is overridden with other commands in these view types.
- So in modo it is possible to define different key assignments for the different view types and also for the different layout!
You can copy/paste some useful commands from here to create you own Maxwell shortcuts.
to Togge Maxwell Palette:
layout.createOrClose maxwellMainWindow {modoAndMaxwell_main_layout} open:? title:{Maxwell plugin for Modo R2} width:[280] height:[750] persistent:[1] style:palette
Â
to Start Maxwell Render:
maxwell.export Render
Â
to Start Maxwell Studio:
maxwell.export Studio
