Built for Maxwell Render 5.2.1.49
Maxwell Rhino v5.2.500 - 09 Mar 2021
COMPATIBILITY:
Built for Maxwell Render 5.2.0.45
IMPROVED:
New Denoiser implementation in Maxwell Render. Only one pass is needed, the denoiser information is now stored in the mxi file as another channel, better memory management for the denoising process, and more consistency in general.
New Tiling option with maximum tile size option.
New Denoiser channel added in the Scene Manager > Output tab > Channels section as now the Denoiser is treated as another channel. This channel activation is synced with the Denoiser section.
CHANGED:
The Denoiser "Start with SL" max value has been changed to 50 (it was 10).
The Denoiser "Start with SL" default value has been changed to 8 (it was 4).
Removed the field to set the Denoiser output path; as it is now treated as another channel, the denoised image is saved with the main output name + _denoiser.
FIXED:
Material “Type” menu didn’t have the “Substance Painter” item.
Substance Painter extension didn’t show in the Materials tab > right-click menu > New Extension menu.
Version 5.1.501 - 16 Jul 2020

Important Note
Maxwell 3.0.1.3 is crashing with MXS References containing instances; this also affects MXS References used in the plugin, as well as the new Maxwell Scatter feature, which operates in terms of MXS References. The workaround is to disable instances when exporting an MXS intended to be used for referencing (which is not generally a bad idea, regardless).
