Timeline Control

This set of buttons is surely familiar to everyone, as it works exactly like the control field in video/music players or video editing programs. Nevertheless it is worth briefly explaining the functions:

 

 

 

A. Go to start frame

B. Go to previous frame

C. Play/stop button for reverse playback

D. Frame counter / “Jump to frame” input field

E. Play/stop button for normal playback

F. Go to next frame

G. Go to end frame

H. Loop playback sequence

I. OpenGL preview


The "Play/stop" function can also be triggered by pressing the Space bar. You can jump to the start of the simulation with the Left Arrow and to the end with the Right Arrow. With the Up Arrow and Down Arrow you can count back and forth frame-wise.
