Monitoring Jobs

Once you have sent a simulation to the “Job Manager” it appears in the manager application's web interface. This website is available from any HTML-capable browser under the address specified here:

 Preferences > Job Manager > Default URL

If you cannot reach the server page, please check whether you have entered a correct address format. A valid address consists of:

http://ip_address:port

By default, the port is 8080 and the IP is the address of the computer with the “Job Manager” application running. Please bear in mind that the “http://” protocol tag is necessary as well.

Another possibility is to monitor the simulation progress inside RealFlow directly. The “Job Monitor” layout element is a built-in browser application. If your “Preferences” have been set correctly, you will see the web interface when you open the window from:

Layout > Job Manager
