RF Meshes

This extension imports a fluid mesh obtained from a particle simulation and already meshed in RealFlow™ in .BIN format, and allows Maxwell Render to render it. 

It is applied as an extension object (i.e. in Studio, you can load it on Object>Create Extension Object>RFMeshes. In the supported plugins, its location depends on each 3D platforms interface).

Parameters

These are the parameters to control the rendering of the particle cloud: 

  • RFMesh File: Path to the .BIN mesh file 
  • MB Factor: Multiplier for the original motion blur value. 
  • Shutter 1/s: Shutter speed indicated in the fluid simulation. 
  • Smooth Normals: Enable this option when you want your mesh to look smooth regarding certain angle. 
  • Smooth Angle: Define the angle below which the normals are interpolated, resulting on an smooth look.
