Modo - Maxwell Referenced MXS

With Maxwell Referenced MXS item you can add Maxwell mxs scenes into the modo scene. The mxs scene is not loaded into the memory so it doesn't slow down modo.

You can use the Maxwell Referenced MXS item as a modo Replicator prototype. It is a great way to add detail to the scene.

Overwrite Material

If it is ON the materials of the referenced scene will be overwritten by the Shader Tree material.

Filter Distance

It is possible to hide the details which are very far from the mxs scene center. It can be useful for example in case you have an emitter object simulating sun for the scene, but you want the scene bounding boxes represent only the real geometry items.

Maximum Distance

Vertices which are over this maximum distance from the mxs scene center are skipped from the bounding box calculation.

Scene Polygon Box

Show/hide the Polygon Box of the referenced scene.

Item Bounding Boxes

Show/hide the object Bounding Boxes of the referenced mxs scene.

Vertices

Show/hide the object vertices of the referenced mxs scene.

Percent

You can set the percentage of the vertices displayed in the viewport.
