Standard particle fluids are RealFlow's oldest fluid technology. Although we have added other state-of-the-art solvers, this type is still relevant, because it supports features like 

  • wet-dry maps
  • crest and object splashes with RealWave surfaces
  • elastic, dumb, gas particles
  • foam maps
  • RealWave particle interaction
  • a long list of particle channels (age, force, density, pressure, velocity, etc.)

 

Compared to the → Dyverso SPH and PBD solvers, the major drawbacks are:

  • Simulation speed.
  • No GPU support.
