HySF - Splash and Foam
"Splash & Foam" always requires an existing core fluid simulation.
Instead of simulating splashes and foam in two separate passes, you also have the option of using this combined emitter to speed up the simulation. “Splash & Foam” does not replace the individual emitters and you can still use them in separate passes. If you want to drive the emission of foam from the core fluid or bubbles we recommend using a dedicated → “Foam” emitter instead.
Although, there is only one common export resource for the “Splash & Foam” emitter, RealFlow writes individual cache files: the splash files carry a “_splash” suffix, the foam files the “_foam” extension.
