DyDomain - Initial State
DyDomain - Initial State
This function lets you set any simulation frame as a new start preset. When you reset the scene the simulation will be starting from the previously defined initial state.
Use Initial State
Initial states can be created and activated/deactivated individually for each node. With
- “Yes” the initial state will be used
- “No” the initial state will be deactivated temporarily.
Make Initial State
A click on this button writes an initial state file to the project directory's “initial state” folder. Here is the workflow:
- Simulate.
- Stop the simulation at any time and press the “Make Initial State” button.
- Set “Use Initial State” to “Yes”.
- Activate the “Reset To InitialState” option next to the “Reset” button.
- Reset the scene to load the initial state at frame 0 (or any other specified frame).
- Simulate, using the initial state.
