DY - Emitters

In order to create a fluid volume it is always necessary to add a Dyverso emitter, because it defines the point of emission:

• The → domain will hold the particles and provides the fluid-specific parameters like viscosity or density.
• With the emitter's "Type" option it is possible to switch between the different shapes (circle, square, triangle, etc.).
• Daemons have to be linked with the emitter's corresponding domain.

Working with Multiple Emitters

Here are a few rules for working with multiple emitters:

• It is possible to attach as many emitters to a single domain as you want.
• You can link specific emitters to a certain domain in RealFlow's → "Relationship Editor".
• Particles from different domains are able to interact.
• All emitters which belong to the same domain share exactly the same physical properties (viscosity, density, etc.),
• Therefore it is not possible to simulate fluids with different density, e.g. water and oil, or water and foam.

This screenshot shows a typical setup with multiple domains and emitters:

• Emitters must be unlinked from the → hub node (select one or more links with the mouse and press Del).
• To link specific nodes draw a line between with a pressed Ctrl/Cmd key.
• Daemons can also be linked individually to make them act on specific domains only.
• "Gravity01" acts on all domains, because it is connected with the domains via "Hub01".
