System Requirements

The Maxwell for Cinema plugin runs on all versions of Cinema 4D 9.6 and greater. There are four packages offered for download:

  • Maxwell for Cinema 4D R9.6-R11
  • Maxwell for Cinema 4D R11.5
  • Maxwell for Cinema 4D R12-13
  • Maxwell for Cinema 4D R14-17

Each package contains the components necessary to run on its version of Cinema 4D, on either Windows or Mac OSX. The OS requirements are:

  • Windows: Vista or better, 32- or 64-bit.
  • Mac OSX: 10.7 or better, on Intel CPUs.

Installation

The plugin is delivered as a zip file, which should be unzipped and copied into the Cinema plugins folder. The download also includes a vcredist folder, containing installers for the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime required by that plugin, which should be installed when running on Windows.
