Standard particle fluids are RealFlow's oldest fluid technology. Although we have added other state-of-the-art solvers, this type is still relevant, because it supports features like 

  • → wet-dry maps
  • → crest and object splashes with → RealWave surfaces
  • → elastic, → dumb or → gas particles
  • → foam maps
  • → RealWave particle interaction

 

Compared to the → Dyverso SPH and PBD solvers, the major drawbacks are:

  • Simulation speed
  • No GPU support
