The following video shows how to install RealFlow | Maya:

Alternatively, you can also follow this description:

  • Close your Maya application.
  • Extract the RealFlow | Maya package.
  • Right click on the installation program and choose "Run as Administrator".
  • Follow the instructions on the screen and choose the appropriate Maya version if necessary.

 

After the installation, start Maya. If the plugin does not show up in Maya's shelves go to Windows > Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager.

 

 

There, scroll down until you see "realflow_maya.mll", and tick "Loaded" and "Auto load". The last option will load the plugin automatically when you launch Maya.
