Here you adjust how objects influence the RealWave surface. “Global” means that these settings are valid for all objects, but it is also possible to use individual “Object Interaction” deformers instead.

Active

With “No” the deformer can be disabled temporarily.

Weight

To reduce the influence of a deformer, decrease its weight. Valid settings are between 0.0 (inactive) and 1.0 (full influence).

Max height

Each object can contribute to wave creation and this parameter sets the maximum height of the generated waves in metres. RealFlow suggests a value, but you can use your own settings as well. Please take a look at → “Quick Start Tutorials - RealWave-Object Interaction” to learn how to use this deformer type.

Wave speed

This is the speed of the waves (in metres per second) that are generated from interacting objects Very fast waves may cause unwanted patterns. In this case, either reduce “Wave speed” or increase the RealWave’s → “Polygon size”. Please take a look at → “Quick Start Tutorials - RealWave-Object Interaction” to learn how to use this deformer type.

Wave Damping

Higher values reduce the life-span of the waves until they finally disappear.

Depth effect

Objects that move below a RealWave surface create a visible displacement. With higher settings, this effect will turn out stronger.
