The best way to export character animations is to bake all motions before they are written with Cinema 4D's “Cappucino” tool:

  • Make the parent object editable and keep it selected.

  • Go to Character > Manager > Cappucino.

  • In the “Cappucino” window, perform the following settings.

  • Drag the timeline slider to frame 0.

  • Click on an empty area of the viewport and keep the left mouse button pressed – the animation starts automatically.

  • When the last frame has been reached release the mouse.

  • Remove the deformer node from the object. The deformation should now be applied to the object on a vertex-level and work without the deformer.

  • Open the “RealFlow SD Exporter”, and export the object with the “vertex” option.
