In order to create a wet-dry map an object requires three things:

  • "UVW" tag.
  • "Collider" tag.
  • Material with a "RealFlow WetMap" shader.

For a workflow description on how to apply these maps go to the → "Wet-Dry Maps" chapter.

RealFlow WetMap

The shader can be found here:

  • Create a material and open a channel, e.g. "Color" or "Reflectance".
  • Open the "Texture" dialogue and choose "RealFlow WetMap" from the menu.
  • Click on the black thumbnail to open the shader's properties.
WetMap Color

The colour is a standard Cinema 4D gradient with appropriate features. For exact control expand the "Wetmap Color" parameter.

You find more information on the settings and parameters in Cinema 4D's manual/online help.
