PL - Shader: Displacement

Here you can load maps created from Hybrido core fluid or RealWave simulations, but any other image is valid as well.

 

 

Shader Type

Aside from “Displacement” there are three more modes:

  • “None” disables shading.

  • “Transparent” is explained separately → here.

  • “Custom” is explained separately → here.

That is just the path to the image you want to load.

Scale

Values smaller than 1.0 will downscale the map, 1.0 keeps the scale, and settings greater than 1.0 are used to upscale the map. Scaling is only possible along the horizontal directions, and the vertical value will be ignored. RealFlow's → “Axis Setup” defines the vertical and horizontal axes. Click on “+” for parameter sliders.

Repeat

If you want the texture to be repeated on your mesh please enter appropriate numbers. Tiling is only possible along the horizontal directions, and the vertical value will be ignored. RealFlow's → “Axis Setup” defines the vertical and horizontal axes. Click on “+” for parameter sliders.
