HySPH - Particles: Hybrido

This particle type obeys our grid-based HyFLIP method. For this reason, you will not find any particle-fluid related parameters, for example “Density” or “Viscosity”, but a “Cell size” value. Hybrido particles offer a good balance between simulation speed and quality.

Type

This parameter is only available for → “Splash”, → “Splash & Foam”, → “Wet”, → “Wet & Foam”. Here are your options:

  • → “Dumb” particles are simulated very fast, cannot react with each other and will not be affected by other emitters.
  • → “Standard - Liquid - Particles” is used for all watery or high-viscous substances. Simulations with this type take much longer, but they also create very realistic results.
  • → “Liquid - Hybrido” offers a good balance between simulation speed and quality. They are controlled by RealFlow's Hybrido solver and therefore have a “Cell size” parameter.
Cell size

Hybrido scene elements use a grid made of cells. With the parameter's default value of 0.3, the smallest volume element of the domain is 0.3 m x 0.3 x 0.3 m. The more cells, the more details you will get, but at the cost of longer simulation times. “Cell size” is one of the most critical parameters with Hybrido simulation, because it also responsible for fluid-object interactions. Max Particles

Please enter a value to stop emission at a certain amount of particles. "Max particles" is based on the total amount of emitted particles. Let's say you have entered "50,000". If there are currently 1,000 particles in your scene, but you have already deleted 49,000 particles RealFlow will stop the emission.
