Attributes Panel: Render Options

When Render Options is selected in the Scene Tree, the Attributes Panel displays the settings which control the render of the scene, such as Render Time, target Sampling Level, render output paths, the extra Channels exported during the render process and even the Extra Sampling areas to concentrate the rendering effort in certain specific zones.

For a full description of all the render settings in Maxwell, check the Render Options and Camera panel pages.

It contains the most fundamental settings for launching a render: sampling level and time limits, Multilight, the render engine and Denoiser settings.

It contains the settings to specify the folder and name of the output files, their format and the channels you want Maxwell to generate during the render.

It contains some settings and switches that affect the scene globally. You can disable motion blur, displacement and dispersion, decide which type of rays you want Maxwell to show in render or override all the materials of the scene with one of your choice.

It contains most of the post-production settings (SImulens, tone mapping and overlay text) and some extra features like Extra Sampling and floating shadows and reflections in Fire.
