Standard particle fluids are mainly used for small- or mid-scale projects. If you want to simulate huge volumes of water with splashes, foam, and bubbles, we recommend using RealFlow's → Hybrido technology. For faster simulates always consider → Dyverso.
Setting up a standard particles fluid scene requires just a few steps – the parameters are available under → "Node Params":
Standard particles are able to
The main limitations are:
RealFlow's standard particle fluids provide a wide variety of different fluid types. To switch between the various types go to Emitter > Node Params > Particles > Type.
Gas | Low-level gas solver. Does not create the typical swirling gas/smoke/fire structures. |
---|---|
Liquid | A highly accurate fluid type with a robust fluid-object interaction. |
Dumb | Ballistic particles, unable to interact. Good for massive spray effects. |
Elastics | Low-level spring-mass solver for jelly- or rubber-like substances. |
Script | Create your own fluid solver with Python scripting. |
