Standard particle fluids are mainly used for small- or mid-scale projects. If you want to simulate huge volumes of water with splashes, foam, and bubbles, we recommend using RealFlow's → Hybrido technology. For faster simulates always consider → Dyverso.

Basic Setup

Setting up a standard particles fluid scene requires just a few steps – the parameters are available under → "Node Params":

Fluid Types

RealFlow's standard particle fluids provide a wide variety of different fluid types. To switch between the various types go to Emitter > Node Params > Particles > Type.

GasLow-level gas solver. Does not create the typical swirling gas/smoke/fire structures.
LiquidA highly accurate fluid type with a robust fluid-object interaction.
DumbBallistic particles, unable to interact. Good for massive spray effects.
ElasticsLow-level spring-mass solver for jelly- or rubber-like substances.
ScriptCreate your own fluid solver with Python scripting.
