This tool is your choice if you want to change a simulation's timing without re-simulating. It is possible to perform retiming tasks on every RealFlow node: all types of fluids, meshes, mist, RealWave surfaces, and even objects with rigid or soft body dynamics. All retiming actions are destruction-free, and your original simulation data will be kept. Anyway, there is one limitation:

  • Simulations with RealFlow's → "Sheeter" and → "Crown" daemon cannot be retimed.
  • Alembic files cannot be retimed.

The "Retime Simulation" window is located under RealFlow's “Tools” menu and when you open it you will see two sections:

The parameter panel can be seen as a control centre for adjusting the retiming process, and the “Input/Output Settings” show you which nodes can be retimed. Like any other of RealFlow's GUI components the "Retime Simulation" window has tooltips that will be displayed when you move the mouse to the appropriate button or element.
