IDOC” is an acronym for “Independent Domain of Computation” and describes a method of splitting a simulation into multiple parts so you can simulate them via a network. This workflow is mainly used with Hybrido secondary effects (splashes, foam, bubbles, mist), but can also be applied to SPH simulations. Please bear in mind that particles inside these independent domains will be treated separately and they are not able to interact.
