The statistic panel informs you about the most important attributes of the selected grid fluid domain or emitter. This is especially useful when you want to check the total amount of particles, for example for estimating the final file size, or dying the particles based on their velocities. Please note that there are slight differences between the individual grid fluid node types regarding this parameter set. Furthermore, all values are for information only and cannot be changed.

Particles

Here you can check the amount of particles for each grid fluid domain individually.

V min/V max

These values print out the minimum and maximum velocities for all particles of the selected domain or emitter in metres per second [m/s]. Very high values are very good indicators of stability or memory problems – especially with Python scripts. Therefore, “V min” and “V max” are essential helpers for debugging operations.
