Basic Facts
Extended functionality is only available with Cinema 4D Studio, e.g. connections to Thinking Particles, PyroCluster, MoGraph, Hair, etc.
RealFlow | Cinema 4D
- is a fluid simulation plugin for Cinema 4D R15, R16, and R17 (Windows and Mac OS X)
- lets you simulate the full range of fluids from watery to highly viscous with high accuracy
- is fully integrated and does not need any third-party plugins or exchange tools – the entire process of scene setup, simulation, meshing, shading, and rendering is done within Cinema 4D's environment
- provides its own particles system and the plugin's basic fluid simulation tools are available with any Cinema 4D package (Prime, Broadcast. Visualize, Studio)
- supports interaction with animated (key and PLA) and static objects; dynamics have to baked.
RealFlow | Cinema 4D does not include
- tools for large scale fluid simulations, splash, foam, bubbles, and mist generation ("Hybrido")
- geometry displacement for wave surfaces ("RealWave")
- rigid and soft body dynamics, fracture tools, MultiJoints ("Caronte")
- RealFlow's C++, Python, and Graphs interfaces
- re-timing and particle selection tools.
