A click on this button opens a new panel where you specify the new shelf's properties:

Shelf Name

Enter the shelf's name here, but please make sure that it is unique and does not contain any special characters – use plain English.

When you take a look at the “Add new shelf” button you will detect a small triangle. Click on it to open a submenu:

Add new shelf

This entry has exactly the same functionality as the same-named main button.

 Add built-in shelf

Here you can choose from RealFlow's default shelves and add another instance of the selected shelf. This can be interesting if you want to modify a system shelf and your own commands, but keep the original version as well. Another occasion where you need this function is when you have deleted a system shelf and want to bring it back to the user interface.

This is the “Icon Editor's” layout:

Under “From Gallery” it is possible to choose a symbol from RealFlow's icon repository. Simply click on “Browse icon gallery...” to get there. In the “Preview” area you will see the selected icon. Adjust its size with the “Resolution” slider. Most icons are stored in SVG format and can be magnified without any loss of quality.

This small menu contains three topics and is available when you right-click on a shelf's name directly:

Edit shelf

This entry lets you change the shelf’s name, visibility, and icon. The functionality and mode of operation is exactly the same as described under “Add new shelf Button” above.

Adds a 1:1 copy of the currently selected shelf.

 Remove selected shelves

Delete a shelf. This action has to be confirmed.

If you click on an empty space somewhere in the “Shelves” area you will see this menu:
