Installation on Windows
To install Maxwell rendering engine for ArchiCAD use the installation package provided.
- Pick the ArchiCAD version you want to install Maxwell for
- Browse for the ArchiCAD install directory.
- The installer copies the plugin components Maxwell.gmx and MaxwellController.apx into the Add-Ons/Visualization folder of the ArchiCAD installation.
- Start ArchiCAD
Installation on Mac OSX
- Unzip the plugin file
- Go to the appropriate folder inside the plugin package. (For example ArchiCAD 16 users has to go into the ArchiCAD 16 folder)
- Drag Maxwell bundle and MaxwellController bundle into ArchiCAD Add-ons/Visualisation folder.

Note that once Maxwell add-on files are placed into the Add-on folder of ArchiCAD the add-on will be recognized by ArchiCAD automatically. |
