This daemon can only be applied to particle-based fluids. "Surface Tension" enhances a fluid’s tendency to accumulate, very similar to viscosity. SPH and Dyverso emitters also have a setting for "Surface Tension". Both, daemon and emitter parameter can be used together.

Model

Curvature: the standard way to compute surface tension,

Curvature-Cohesion: a more accurate model to compute surface tension.

Strength

This value defines the overall strength of the daemon’s force. All negative and positive settings are valid. With very high settings you can often observe highly accelerated particles and we recommend adding a → "k Volume" daemon to delete them.

Balanced

With “Yes” the daemon’s force field is more homogenous and prevents fluids from breaking apart into smaller drops too fast.
