Step 2: Download the License

 

This step is only necessary for users with floating and node-locked licenses. Users of the demo version can proceed with → "Step 4: License Wizard (I want to try the demo version)".

Download your license file or move it to a different computer.

When moving your license to a different computer, the host ID will change. You have to contact our support team (from the “Support” section at the portal or using this contact form) in order to get the host ID field cleared up so a new one can be set. If you inform the support team about the new machine’s host ID they will change it for you. Then, you’ll have to download the license file from the portal.

Step #1:

If the host ID field has been cleared for you, you’ll find this in My Products > Purchased / assigned products:

The last option of the License Wizard will tell you the host ID of your machine.

Step #2:

After that, you will see this:

The new host ID has been added and the button has turned green; it will now let you download the license file.

Step #3:

Then, just use the License Wizard to place the file in the right folder (remember to open RealFlow as an administrator if you are using Windows). Use the second option if you have a node-locked license or the fourth if you are using a floating one. Then, Realflow will be licensed.

Alternatively, you can place the .lic file manually in this folder:
