PL - Field

While the mesh-related adjustments are directly accessible from the mesh-node, it is different with the particle-related parameters. They can only be seen with an emitter attached to the mesh node. These parameters can be adjusted individually for each emitter, making it possible to define specific settings and values for the emitters to generate a much better and diversified mesh. To get your hands on these parameters, select the desired emitter that is grouped under the appropriate mesh node.

Blend factor

The mesh engine draws a sphere around every particle and blends them to create a smooth surface. With 0.0 you will be able to see the individual spheres. Increasing values inflate the mesh and remove detail. The value of 95.0 is a good starting point.

Radius

The mesh engine draws a sphere around every particle, blends them, and extracts a surface. The radius of these spheres is defined here. A good starting value is: Radius = Polygon size * 1.7

Subtractive field

Normally meshes from multiple emitters are added, but you also have the possibility to subtract meshes.
