The Maxwell Volumetric tag produces a volumetric region at render-time:

This tag may be placed on a Null, an RF Particles Importer, or Particles Emitter/Geometry:

On a Null, it controls a Constant or Noise 3D Field, or references an RF bin file.
On an RF Particles Importer, the RF bin file is taken from the RF Particles Importer.
On a Particles Emitter or Geometry, native Cinema particles define the volumetric.
