3dsmax - Toolbar
The Maxwell plug-in creates a toolbar for quick access to certain plug-in features:
Maxwell Render toolbar
Button | Function |
---|---|
Open Maxwell Render Settings:Â | sets Maxwell as current render engine and opens Render Setup window. |
Render in Maxwell:Â | sets Maxwell as the current render engine and launches the render. |
Export to Maxwell Studio:Â | exports the scene to a .mxs file (either to a temporal folder or the folder and file name specified in the Render Setup window > Renderer > General settings > MXS Output) and opens it in Maxwell Studio. |
Send job to Network:Â | exports the scene and opens the Maxwell network job wizard to prepare it for network rendering. |
Export to Cloud: | exports the scene (either to a temporal folder or the folder and file name specified in the Render Setup window > Renderer > General settings > MXS Output) and opens Maxwell Monitor with the file loaded into the wizard and ready to create a cloud job. |
FIRE (Render using Maxwell set for ActiveShade):Â | sets 3DS Max to use ActiveShade with Maxwell and launches the render. |
Pack and Go:Â | exports the scene to a .mxs file including all the dependencies required for it to render to a folder of your choice. |
Export Referenced MXS file:Â | export current scene or object selection to an MXS file. |
Create a Maxwell Referenced MXS:Â | browse for an MXS file and add it to the scene as an MXS reference. |
Vray to Maxwell Scene Converter:Â | launches Vray to Maxwell scene converter window, so you can automatically converter most of Vray scenes features to Maxwell. |
Create a Maxwell Proxy:Â | creates a new Maxwell Proxy object that references the selected object as an instance. |
Focus To Selection:Â | sets the focus plane of the currently selected camera to include the pivot point of the selected object. |
Create Maxwell Light:Â | adds an MxLight object to the scene. |
Maxwell Light Panel: | opens a compact list of all the lights in the scene used by Maxwell, except the lights included in referenced files (mxm or mxs). It lets you activate, deactivate, select and easily change light intensities. |
Create BIN Mesher Object:Â Â | prompts you to select a Realflow BIN particle file which will be used to create a RenderKit mesher node. |
Create BIN Particle Object:Â | prompts you to select a Realflow BIN particle file to be rendered using the particle procedural. |
Create BIN Mesh Loader:Â Â | prompts you to select a Realflow BIN mesh file which will be loaded at render time. |
