The Maxwell Camera has the ability to render only a portion of what your camera sees of the scene (Render region), or also magnify that portion (Blow-up region). This is controlled by the parameter "Selection" found in the Camera parameters.

Render the full image, just a region, or blow up that region.



Full

This option renders the full frame (in the Maxwell application, in the Studio viewport or in the Network depending on where you enable it) at the selected camera resolution. It has no further parameters.

Region

This option allows you to render a desired region frame, that you can specify by setting the Origin and End numeric coordinates, or by using the rectangular marquee icon in the Maxwell Studio viewport, in the Maxwell application or in the Network depending on the render mode you choose. Some plug-ins also offer this functionality.

Blow Up

This option is similar to Region (setting it using the same tools as for a Region render), but it renders the selected region filling the full frame resolution for rendering detail close-ups.
