If you have a compatible graphic card it can be activated here to boost the simulation.

 

 

CPU only

When active, RealFlow | Maya performs the entire simulation via the CPU. This is the default choice.

OpenCL | CUDA

To speed up simulation enable one of these options:

  • Gaming cards like the GeForce series perform very well with RealFlow | Maya. 
  • The amount of VRAM determines the size of the simulation and there is currently no fallback on the mainboard's RAM.
  • Old and low-performance graphic cards normally do not have any effect on simulation time or might even slow down the simulation.

When one of these options is active you will see a list with your computer's graphic cards, and the first one is selected automatically.

Currently, RealFlow | Maya does not support multi-GPU simulations.
