The “Spreadsheet” panel's interface is dynamically adapted to the chosen node type:

  • The → Summary” area is the same for all node types.
  • The "Detail" section has exactly the same structure for all supported nodes types.

The Detail Area

Source (A)

Choose, which node you want to analyse. By default, the selected node is shown, but you can switch to another scene element at any time. When you change nodes your current → filters will be deactivated, but they can be reapplied when you reselect a node with filters.

Filter entries (B)

Filters are the most powerful feature of RealFlow's “Spreadsheet”. The checkbox will just add a blank row, where the filters will appear. Additionally, a “Filters...” button is shown, where the filters are defined. Please open → “Spreadsheet - Working with Filters” for a description.

Filter... (B)

This button only appears when “Filter entries” is enables. A click opens a new window, where the filters are defined. Please open → “Spreadsheet - Working with Filters” for a description.

First particles | vertex | ...

Here you define which element (particle, vertex, point, etc.) will be the first in the list below.

Particles | Vertices | ... steps

If you only want to see the information for every 2nd, 3rd, or 10th element please enter the appropriate number.

Limit particles | vertices | ...

Enable the checkbox and enter how many elements you want to see in the list below. Please note that the “First [...]” and “[...] steps” parameters influence the listed elements.

Spreadsheet (C)

Once you have defined a → filter, step, or limit the list will be updated according to your rules. The structure of this area with its rows and columns is exactly the same for all supported node types. You can select and edit

  • a single cell, row (horizontal), or column (vertical)
  • multiple cells, rows, or columns with Ctrl/Cmd or Shift clicks

Every column represents a channel, e.g id, position, velocity, texture, radius, area, etc.:

  • Vector channels are split into their X (0), Y (1), and Z (2) elements.
  • To group vectors disable “Separate components” at the panels bottom.
  • Faces consist of three vertices labelled A, B, and C.
  • The cells' entires can be → edited and modified.
Status Line

This is a brief summary about the total number of elements, and how many of elements match your filter.
