Simulation is an iterative process, and it is often necessary to keep intermediate results or parameter combinations. Therefore, the parameters of the RealFlow | Cinema 4D nodes can be overwritten by the "Take" manager and the workflow is exactly the same as with other Cinema 4D scene elements. Once your parameters have been saved through a "Take" they can be restored with a single click. Each  "Take" and "Child Take" also provides a "Notes" field where you can add descriptions or reminders.

The basic steps, e.g. for a scene with three different "Strength" values for a "Gravity" daemon, are:

  • Create a new "Take" and rename it to "Gravity"
  • Create three "Child Takes" and name them "Strength 245", "Strength 490", and "Strength 980".
  • Drag the "Gravity" daemon from the RealFlow "Scene" to the "Child Takes" - now each "Take" has its own "Objects" folder and a copy of the daemon's parameters.
  • Browse through the "Takes" and apply the "Strength" values of 245, 490, and 980.
  • In order to use these predefined values, activate the appropriate "Take" and simulate.
  • The "Strength" value in "Attributes" manager will be updated according to the active "Take".
