ARCHICAD plugin is smoothly integrated into the ARCHICAD work environment.

It has five main UI components:

and the plugin modules inside the

Maxwell menu

You can find the Maxwell menu in the main menu are and under

Documents > Creative Imaging > Maxwell

From the Maxwell menu, you can start the main plugin commands with a single click, and you can open/close the Maxwell plugin Palette.

Maxwell plugin Palette

Maxwell plugin has its own Palette from where you can start Maxwell Render, Maxwell Studio, FIRE, etc. with a single click. You can also manage here the Maxwell-related item parameters, Maxwell Library objects, etc.

Maxwell Preferences

You can access this panel from the Maxwell menu or the gear icon on the palette.

From it, you can modify the plugin’s general behavior, set FIRE and the material preview options and search paths for the missing textures.

PhotoRendering Settings...

To follow the conventional ARCHICAD workflow the plugin has its own render parameters inside the PhotoRendering Settings window.

To reach the Maxwell parameters set the Engine control to Maxwell Rendering Engine.

Material...

You can adjust the additional Maxwell material parameters inside the Material Settings window.

To reach these Maxwell parameters set the Engine Settings control to Maxwell Rendering Engine.
