Below we have compiled the "License Activator's" error messages:
Cannot connect to server. Please try again later.
There is no connection to the license activation server. Please note that you need an internet connection to be able to install your license.
Unable to save license data in the local machine.
Probably you do not have write permissions in the folder where the license file is copied:
- Windows:
C:\users\<username>\Documents\realflow_cinema4d\license
- macOS:
/Users/<username>/Documents/realflow_cinema4d/license
The user and/or password specified is not valid or the key has not been found.
Normally this is because your account cannot found in the gateway.
The serial number is already in use.
The serial number is being used by another client.
This license is correct but data cannot be validated. Please try again later.
The gateway is down and the license cannot be validated properly.
This license has reached the maximum number of activations permitted.
The same license can be activated only a limited number of times.
The serial number specified is not valid.
There was a problem in the creation of the serial number. It seems to be not correct.
Cannot validate license.
This error means that the gateway login and/or the activation key are not correct.
If the "License Activator" application has been executed from outside the plugin (it is a separate application) you will get this error as well. In this case the error appears, because the application has not been used as originally intended.
The system cannot be identified. Cannot detect the system Host ID.
The system does not have a → MAC address. Node-locked licenses require a machine with at least one network adapter card.
The license has been activated but is not valid.
The created license is not valid.
Activation error caused by server. Please try again in a few moments.
The communication with the license activation server went wrong. In most cases there is a temporary problem with the connection.
License problem (code -6). Requested version not supported. Please click on the Help button to find out more about this problem.
This error points to a license conflict, e.g. when RealFlow | Cinema 4D 2.0 tries to read a 1.0 license. In this case, remove/rename the 1.0 license file and replace it with your new 2.0 file.
