This daemon can accelerate or decelerate particles/bodies based on their speed - like an extra push. The advantage is that you can define minimum and maximum speed values, and the daemon will only affect particles or bodies with velocities smaller or greater than the given limits.

Min velocity

Only particles/bodies with velocities smaller than the given value will be affected by the “Min gain” multiplier. “Min velocity” is measured in metres per second.

Min gain

When a particle's or body's velocity is smaller than “Min velocity” its speed will be multiplied with this value. Settings

  • greater than 1.0 will accelerate the particle or body
  • smaller than 1.0 will decelerate the particle or body
  • of 1.0 have no effect.
Max velocity

Only particles/bodies with velocities greater than the given value will be affected by the “Max gain” multiplier. “Max velocity” is measured in metres per second.

Max gain

When a particle's or body's velocity is smaller than “Max velocity” its speed will be multiplied with this value. Settings

  • greater than 1.0 will accelerate the particle or body
  • smaller than 1.0 will decelerate the particle or body
  • of 1.0 have no effect.
Clamp

Normalizes the fluid particles' or bodies' speeds to match the values set at “Min | Max velocity”.
