This menu contains functions for creating video previews and controlling playback in the "Movie Player". For many playback options there are shortcuts available that can be found next to the appropriate command.
OpenGL Preview
...
When you choose this option, RealFlow creates a rendered preview from the active viewport. Once the sequence has been rendered, the images will be assembled to a video in the “Movie Player”. Please take a look at the appropriate “Preferences” panel and/or the settings from the “Maxwell Interactive” bar. There you will find further parameters to adjust the time of the day, quality and more.
Video Preview Cached Frames
With this option, only the currently cached frames will be used to create the preview. To check, which parts of the simulation have been cached, just take a look at the timeline: the orange bar indicates the number of simulated frames. If you want to update this information, please press Alt + U to load the available simulation data.
Send Video Preview to Job Manager
Video previews can also be created with RealFlow's “Job Manager”. This feature requires a correctly adjusted “Job Manager” environment, and the “Preview” plugin. All of these settings are made under “Preferences - Job Manager”.
Open Last Preview
If you have created more previews, you can simply call up the last one without searching.
