This daemons creates a scalable box to delete particles from inside or outside a bounding volume (see "Falloff" for how to adjust this volume).
RealFlow Scene
In RealFlow | Maya it is possible to use multiple "Scene" trees in the same project. To link a daemon to a different scene tree right-click on the field, choose "Set Scene", and select an item from the appearing list.
Linked Domains
All fluid, rigid, and elastic containers inside the field will be affected by the daemon. If there is only one container in the scene it will be linked automatically. Otherwise the connection has to be established manually.
Parameters & Settings
The daemon's settings and parameters are all located in the → "Falloff" section, where you also define a bounding volume.relays completely on its falloff settings in order to kill particles.
The k Volume daemon is configured to create a default configuration with the following settings:
- Falloff is enabled.
- Falloff is visible.
- Falloff size is 20x20x20.
- Falloff shape is a box.
- Particles outside of the falloff area are deleted.
